Thanks, Whittenberger Foundation!

The Whittenberger Foundation’s grant to AquAbility helps pay pool fees for the Boise Youth program. We appreciate this generous gift that helps us to provide therapeutic aquatic programs for children with disabilities in the greater Boise area. Here are some pictures of our program in action!

Thank you Disabled Sports USA

AquAbility thanks DSUSA for their “I CAN DO ANYTHING” grant for the 2016-17 school year. Funds were used for scholarships that helped 6 children participate in weekly therapeutic aquatic sessions over the past school year. Support like this helps build independence, confidence, self-esteem, and the children learn aquatic and safety skills for life. Thanks DSUSA!

Announcing an exciting new collaboration with Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity at Boise State University!

We are so excited to announce our new community partnership with AquAbility and Pi Kappa Phi. Through Pi Kappa Phi’s great philanthropy, The Ability Experience, their mission is to use shared experiences to support people with disabilities and develop the men of Pi Kappa Phi into servant leaders. With their love of helping others and our mission of developing independence and ability, enhancing health and fitness, increasing self-esteem, and improving quality of life for children, adults and veterans with disabilities, we see a very bright future for both of our organizations.

Aquability Fundraiser – November 16th at Eureka! in Downtown Boise

Come check out a new local restaurant and help support AquAbility!

Located on 8th street across from Bittercreek, the new restaurant Eureka! will be donating 20% of your bill (not counting alcohol sales) to AquAbility.  This offer lasts the entire day of Wednesday, November 16th, and all you have to do is  mention the event to your server (or print out and show them a copy of this flyer) and they’ll take care of the rest.  This is a great opportunity to check out a delicious new restaurant and help support our program at no extra cost to you.  Hope to see you there!

New Board Member, Kevin Everett

Kevin has been coaching for over 20 years; building, growing, and learning to be a catalyst for evolving relationships.  He has competed as a professional athlete for over a decade, experiencing events all over the world. He swam in college while being a member of the four time NCAA II National Championships Swimming Team, Oakland University, earning Academic All American and Dean’s List status. Kevin loves to coach and has had the pleasure of working with every age group and ability.  Expanding a love for movement (play) is a fun way to discover more about who we are. Entering his 23rd year coaching swimming he enjoys instilling a love for a sport that can be so rewarding.  He was an integral part of creating and coaching the Youth and Adult Triclub at the YMCA.  Kevin is a Life coach and Author of The Heart of Running.  Today, he uses his experience with motion, energy management, and balancing life to optimize the moment.  Kevin is also currently coaching master swimming at Boise State University.
